Worldwide governments needs to adopt a more holistic approach to fisheries management. One which considers the wider marine environment, the interaction between species and impacts such as climate change, land-based pollution and coastal development.

We need to replace destructive fishing practices by supporting a switch to alternative, more sustainable ones and seek out organisations which are focused on improving the current sad situation.

Add to that the two days for unloading and processing means the fish were dead anywhere from 10 to 12 days before they arrive at the restaurant or market. Think about that reality when the answer to your question “Is the Snapper Fresh? Very fresh - it just came in today!
